Description
This wheel-thrown bowl was a result of playing with Mayco glazes. It created this beautiful purple, blue, and white shades on the inside of the bowl. The only thing is that I wish it had less pinholes on the outside. Will experiment with these glazes again in the future, but I like the beautiful runs and the sandiness at the bottom of the blue on the outside wall.
It is food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

Laguna BMix with Grog Cone 10
BMix with Grog Cone 10 is manufactured by Laguna Clay and Glaze Company. Line number WC-893. It matures at Cone 10. The color of this clay body after firing is white to grey (reduction), or off white (oxidation), with light speckling. Its texture is lightly coarse. Avg. Water Absorption 1%. Average shrinkage: 10.3%.

Mayco Blue Surf
Mayco Blue Surf is a premade glaze manufactured by Mayco Colors. Its meant to be applied to clay body that matures at Cone 6-10. The product code number is SW-100. The thinner the application tthe more green the glaze will appear. The thicker the more blue it will be. Where the glaze breaks it will be green. The expected color at Cone 6 oxidation is variegated cobalt blue glazes that breaks green, and at Cone 10 reduction the color darkens. This glaze is relatively runny. See More -
Mayco Wintergreen
Mayco Wintergreen is a premade glaze manufactured by Mayco Colors. Its meant to be applied to clay body that matures at Cone 6-10. The product code number is SW-135. Lighter coatings will allow body characteristics to appear through the glaze (especially on dark and speckled clay bodies). Use three coats to achieve the deepest opacity. At Cone 10, it changes to a transparent pale green gloss with matte crystal growth. This glaze is relatively stable. See More
