Kopi Pecah means broken coffee bean. This set is inspired by a type of batik pattern from Banyuwangi, Java, Indonesia. It symbolizes sacrifice.
I thought quite a bit when creating this set. I took the pattern and made it in pink to provide modern and chic touch. I made the top and the bottom pattern the inversion of each other, but they have the same rim. I want each piece of the set to complement each other but also to be similar enough.
Drinking from my own pour over is very satisfying. I think I would make more in the future. I don’t know whether I would make more sets or just the filter part. Stay tuned!
