Description
I’m loving the pink matte inside and white matte outside finish. This is one of that collection, with a hidden sakura bloom on the outside.
The piece was wheel-thrown, trimmed, bisque-fired, then glazed, before finally being glaze fired.
Approx dimensions: 3.” dia x 3″ height.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.

This glaze is a premade glaze manufactured by Mayco Colors. It’s meant to be applied to clay body that matures at cone 6-10. The product code number is SW-162. It’s a semi-opaque glaze. Lighter coatings will allow body characteristics to appear through the glaze (especially on dark and speckled clay bodies). In Cone 10 reduction, it changes to a soft pink translucent gloss. Lighter coatings will allow body characteristics to appear through the glaze (especially on dark and speckled clay bodies). Thicker application, three or more coats, will produce a more opaque finish. This glaze is relatively stable.
